Created and launched in August of 2010, CALIFORNIAMONEY quickly found an amazing audience for its unique designs within its hometown of San Diego, CA. Founder and C.E.O. of the company Omar states “We couldn’t have picked a better time to launch the line, as people were seeking something fresh they could wear to the beaches and various events throughout one of southern California's most predominate cities." The first generation of the CALIFORNIAMONEY featured various tank tops, t-shirts, hats, and sweaters inscribed with "Kool" in a clean, yet eye-catching font. The “Kool” line became highly favored amongst consumers and began reaching a grander audience with strategic placement in music videos of many West Coast based artists. Soon after, CALIFORNIAMONEY had expanded to neighboring cities such as Riverside and Los Angeles.
The sudden rise of the CALIFORNIAMONEY brand was no accident, as the line's limitless mission was to touch communities across cultures, bridging young optimists from Skateboarding all the way to Break Dancing. Following the popularity of the “Kool” line, CALIFORNIAMONEY returned with a signature line which featured the company name emblazoned on various clothing items. In support of the CALIFORNIAMONEY trademark, the company launched a full-scale marketing campaign--both online and street promotion--as well as partnered with various Southern California based event companies to launch a series of socials, targeting their young market.
With a bright future ahead, the highly demanded clothing line embarks on new elements on the brand, introducing “California Dream”.
